The Mets may have themselves a find in SP Victor Peralta. Peralta pitched his first DSL Met year in 2008, as a reliever, and turned in numbers of 4-3, 3.45, in 20 appearances, 3 saves. This year, he has come out of the box as a starter and Sunday, through up 5.0 more innings of run-less ball. So far this season his ERA is a simple 0.00.

Rickys Ramirez actually got the win as a reliever, but since all the pitchers are piggybacking right now, it sure looks like Ramirez ill eventually join the rotation. So far… 2 games… 12.0 IP… 0.75 ERA.

CF Breiner Soto continues to lead the team in hitting, going 1-4 on Sunday for a season BA of .366. I’ve love a look at this stick… 6-2, 147…

OF Dani Duncan (.222) hit his 2nd home run of the early year. Duncan had 165 at bats for last year’s team, batting .194, with 4 homers.
