B-Mets: Ike Davis Walk-Off Win

Once surefire future starting pitcher Dylan Owen returned to Binghamton tonight from St. Lucie, after being demoted to the pen there earlier in the year. This could be one of the last opportunities he may have to remain a rotational starter. IMO, he didn’t pass the test tonight: 5.0, 3-ER, 4-BB, 6.83.

1B Ike Davis singled in the first inning and continued his 1.000 AA batting average.

It was good to see ex-Met Ambiorix Concepcion (.253) DHing for Bowie, but he didn’t have to hit his 4th homer of the season.

Second at bat for Davis… walk… still 1.000… but he finally did make a couple of outs.. but it was his walk-off 2-run double that won the game.
