The pitching performance of the night goes to Julio Bello (3.0, 0-ER, 2-K, 0.00). Belo was an international kiddie sign in 2005, had an outstanding year in 2007 with the DSL Mets, and went 2-1, 2.50 last year for GCL… he’s 22 years old.
Prospect 2B Alonzo Harris got out of the gate with a 2-4, 1-RBI game.
Our other prospect, RF Cesar Puello, didn’t fare as well, going 0-4.
