Minor Rags: - Mike Jacobs, Jonathan Malo... and Jeff Flagg

Bisons:

Mike Jacobs, the newest Bison, had a three-hit day including a home run and Jesus Feliciano went 4 for 5 and drove in three runs for Buffalo in a 10-3 rout of the Pawtucket Red Sox before 7,284 Sunday.

The win enabled the second-place Bisons (10-7) to keep pace with first-place Syracuse (12-5) in the International League's North Division. - link

B-Mets:

Jonathan Malo made it look and sound easy, but there was nothing simple about the sharp defensive play that helped preserve the Binghamton Mets' 4-2 victory over New Hampshire on Sunday. With one out in the eighth inning and Darin Mastroianni representing the tying run on third base, Malo raced in from his post in left field to nab a hard-hit ball from David Cooper, then gunned down the tagged-up Mastroianni at the plate. "I didn't think he was going to go," Malo said. "Then I looked up to third base, and I saw him go. And I just fired and got him." - link
Gnats:

Jeff Flagg's game-winning shot remained at the base of the left-center field scoreboard Sunday afternoon until Savannah Sand Gnats' personnel retrieved it. In a frivolous Gnats lockerroom afterward, Flagg shunned the souvenir - the final evidence of the come-from-behind, bottom of the ninth-inning 6-5 victory over the Hickory Crawdads at Grayson Stadium. - link
