The Minnesota Twins are a very conservative team when it comes to pitching prospects. It is rare to find them starting a pitcher off at the A+ level, which they did with Wimmers.


He only pitched in four professional games, so there is no chance he would pitch in the MLB playoffs, even if he was a Yankee. His ETA with the Twins is 2013 at best. That's how this team rolls.

I'm sure he is currently in the team's instruction league and will most probably pitch winter ball, though it will not be the Arizona league.
