...it may not be Sandy KOUFAX, but today is already a really good day, as the Mets are about to announce the hiring of Sandy Alderson as their 12th General Manager at 2pmEST. And yes, Fred can finally, officially say that he "hired SANDY"....(now if only he could THROW like the "other" Sandy...)
