#38 - RHP Scott McGlouth Oregon 6'1 185 - smooth righty with comps to Mike Leake of the Reds, Scott possesses a sharp cb 11/6 rotation and a fb up to 93, mostly 90-91 and keeps pitches away from fat part of hitters bats! Misses barrels in layman's terms! Good control and command with resilient arm. Has vastly improved in last 3 years, was said to have throw upper 80's in HS 2 yrs ago. http://xmlbscout.angelfire.com/

Kenny Diekroger – Stanford - Diekroger is another freshman who thrived as a true freshman in 2010 for one of the perennial top teams in the country. He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays in the second round out of high school, but instead of signing the Woodside, CA native stayed close to home to play for Mark Marquess. The decision paid-off. Diekroger jumped into the line-up, leading Stanford with a .356 averaged and 41 RBIs. He started 54 of his team’s 55 games to help the Cardinal get back to the NCAA Tournament after a 2009 absence. Diekroger was named a New England Collegiate Baseball Summer League All-Star last summer. His younger brother, Danny Diekroger, joins him this year as a freshman on the Cardinal baseball team. http://collegebaseball360.com/2011/01/21/top-11-college-baseball-ss-to-watch-in-2011

http://www.perfectgame.org/Articles/View.aspx?article=5164  - - The recently completed Perfect Game World Showcase in Fort Myers featured one of the most talented groups of players ever to play in this long running event, which dates back to 1997 and was the original Perfect Game showcase. Players are 2011 prospects: - 20. C J.C. Coban (Boca Raton, FL): Coban would definitely be on the very short list of the strongest players at this or any other event, but he is still loose and agile in his athletic actions and swung the bat very well in game competition.

Mac Doyle – Wofford - Doyle started his college career in his hometown (Conway, SC) at Coastal Carolina. However, a transfer across the Palmetto State has served him well. Doyle smacked a grand slam against Virginia Tech in his first game in a Wofford uniform, and he hasn’t looked back since. Doyle totaled eight home runs and 30 RBIs in 2009 and then batted .375 with 16 HR and 75 RBIs and a 1.204 OPS last year. His long ball total was nearly a fourth of his team’s home run production. - http://collegebaseball360.com/2011/01/18/top-11-college-baseball-catchers-to-watch-in-2011
