The Herd has won the first two games of the set by scores of 7-3 and 4-3. The Bisons have won three straight and eight of their last 11 games. After tomorrow’s contest, the Bisons will welcome the Syracuse Chiefs into town.

vs. RED WINGS: The Bisons are 4-2 this season against the Red Wings. The clubs split a four-game set at Frontier Field, April 7-10. DEALIN’ DYLAN: RHPDYLAN OWEN will make his second straight start after being moved to the rotation last week. Owen allowed just one home run in 4.2 innings of a no-decision on Monday in Lehigh Valley. In that game, Owen became the first Bisons’ pitcher in more than 17 years to hit a home run (John Hope, 8/6/94 vs. Indy). Owen started 20 games for the Herd last year and was 6-7 with a 3.87ERA as a starter.

STREAKIN’: Five Bisons players bring a personal season-high hit streak into today’s game. INFVALENTINO PASCUCCI leads them all with a 12-game stretch over which he has hit .321 (17-53). BISONS BITS: Each of the Bisons last three wins have helped them gain a game in the standings, from five games back to only two....The Bisons rank 2nd in the IL in both hitting (.277) and pitching (3.08ERA)...INF BOBBY SCALES leads the International League in both average (.400) and on-base percentage (.517)...OFANDRES TORRES was 1-3 (R, BB) yesterday in the second game of his MLB injury rehabilitation assignment with the Bisons.
