Conforto. If he is a legit power bat that projects to possible All Star major league potential, I'd welcome that sort of a hitter, frankly. We are 7-17 this month with consistently fine starting pitching. That has been a Met tale of woe for too many years. If you don't sign and develop true hitters, you overpay for the likes of Bay, Young, Grandy, etc. The lack of bats (and too deep fences) carries a real financial cost.
