DILLON GEE RETURNS TO BROOKLYN ON SUNDAY!
Mets Right-Hander Gets Rehab Start at MCU Park Where It All Began

WHO:                         New York Mets pitcher Dillon Gee

WHAT:                       New York Mets RHP Dillon Gee will make his second Major League Rehabilitation start with the Brooklyn Cyclones when they take on the Staten Island Yankees at MCU Park.  Gee, who was the Mets' Opening Day starter this season, began his career as a member of the Cyclones back in 2007.  Gee was 3-1 with a 2.73 ERA (16 ER / 52.2 IP) in eight starts prior to being placed on the Disabled List on May 14th with a right lat strain.

"Brooklyn and MCU Park is a great environment to pitch in," Gee said. "Being there back in 2007 was one of the best experiences of my career.  I'm excited to get back on the mound in front of the Brooklyn fans, but more excited to take another step towards rejoining the Mets and being able to help us win on the major league level."

WHEN:                       Sunday, June 29th, first pitch set for 5:00 PM (gates open at 3:30)
