Mets Minor League Report: June 28, 2014

MMLR Player of the Day: Binghamton LHSP Steven Matz.
Matz pitched a great game to earn the MMLR PotD award, but B-Mets SS/2B Dilson Herrera deserves an honorable mention for his 4-5 night with 5 RBI.

Sacramento (47-35) tops Las Vegas (48-34) 7-6 in 10 innings.

St. Lucie (45-32) clips Bradenton (41-37) 4-3.

A walk-off HR by Eudy Pina, leading off the bottom of the 9th, wins it, after Bradenton came back to tie it in the 8th.

Gabriel Ynoa (no decision) pitched well enough to win, left with a lead, but got nothing to show for it: 7.0 IP, R, 7 H, (HR) 0 BB, 5 K.
