Another nice gaame for Fulmer, who recently has shown progress. Dekker .400 pace continues. The normally lethal Leathersick and Beck Wheeler both got out of the wrong side of bed yesterday. And Star of Day Conforto may be a hitting machine. Always interesting in the minors.

I know it's only Brooklyn but Conforto looks like the best hitter from the draft that he was labeled to be. Very excited about his future.

Guys -

You have to be excited about Conforto. It's only 44 ABs, but it is his first 44 ABs and he's hitting the cover off the ball to the tune of .409/.490/.523 for an OPS of 1.013. I hope they don't rush him and let him mature naturally. I have a feeling that he will be a great one if he can handle the outfield. I would hate to see him compete with Smith for 1B.
