I notice they didn't announce picking p the phone to talk to Yoenis Cespedes before he hits the open market. Per reports yesterday, the Mets didn't make the gesture. I guess they must be on one of those prepaid mobile plans where the minutes count.
"What we have here is a failure to communicate"...and a willingness to be bold, until proven otherwise.
I have more respect for Strother Martin than I do for the front office.
