Why couldn't they move it to CT where I live? Finally out of Vegas...yes.

This is a MASSIVE positive development!

Getting the AAA back to the East Coast.
Forcing the Nationals into the PDC Free Agent World.
Moving to a FAR superior facility vs Las Vegas.

Wins all around here.

Baseball in Syracuse in April? Nothing was available a little further south..... dam April in Citi-field is insane what will it be like up there. Sorry but as ugly as those years in Buffalo were that we want to forget and who was it that blew the Tidewater deal?

Gary, the point is they OWN the franchise. They can do anything they want including move it.

They once owned their Jacksonville AAA club I think. They could return there, I suppose... orto Savannah, Mack!

Gary,

The Norfolk Tides are the ones who refused to renew the player development contract.

Although is was in part due to disagreements with the Wilpons and more specifically Omar Minaya.

Hip hip horray!

Speaking as probably the sole El Paso resident here, let me say I'd be bowled over if the Chihuahuas did not renew their affiliation with San Diego. They have gone to two straight PCL championship games and the town LOVES them here.

Reese, is San Diego then an up-and-comer in terms of graduating AAA talent?
