It will be interesting to see what position Urena plays in the spring.

Juan Lagares IS NOT being activated by the Aguilas this week.

Probably safe to say we wont see him this off-season

FYI: Ruben Tejada "Collins" (age 29) now playing for Norfolk Tides. Hit .230 BA in 2017.

On Juan Lagares and Dom Smith...I just think that if a player reaches AA ball relatively quickly, then they should be taking this whole thing seriously enough to (A) Not become a fat, lazy player (Dom Smith) and (B) Build yourself up to the very best that you can (within reason) so that you can maximize your ability hitting deep into the gaps in the outfield (Juan Lagares) making that your strength.

As a result, I would never take either of these two players seriously. They obviously don't think enough of this magnificent opportunity before them, to make it count. I wouldn't keep either one actually for these reasons.

I'd let Jhoan Urena takeover at first (backup 3B) and Brandon Nimmo takeover in center field. It's the smart thing to do. I just am not impressed with Lagares or Smith and I do not like their mental approaches to this game. Period.

Obviously you have to be willing to try and trade Steven Matz. I am surprised that he didn't get seriously hurt on his honeymoon, to be honest. I'd try again to get a solid hitting kid corner outfielder more for Steven.

Harvey I would put in the pen as an additional setup man, until his arm falls off. Let it go at that. I never worry about a MLB team's bullpen, mainly because it is so terribly up and down thru the season with each one usually. Just have like nine guys who could start the year in the pen. By June, there will be six still healthy and effective a team can go with. Don't stress the pen, there are too many variables and it is never a science there that I have seen beyond maybe one set-up and one closer. "Turnstyle" describes MLB bullpens these days.

I'd go hard after Marlins' catcher JT Realmuto and try to find a left handed starter more of quality, a younger corner outfielder with power game.(Mets MiLB has none close to here in this mold)
